yoga books that you must read once

this is a great book from swami vivekananda. the complete book of yoga gives you the idea of different yogic practices and why we want to do it?? Raja yoga meditation is one of the technique followed by Vivekananda. Some yoga books are lifetime read and you must check this book. The next book that I would recommend is the above one. It discusses about the Patanjali Yoga sutras. It's a very tough concept to try but Swami vivekananda has given a new dimension to it. you need someone like Swami Vivekananda or Swami Yogananda to translate the meaning of what saint Patanjali has said. you can check out the book here the third book on yoga that I would recommend is the Bks Iyengar's book which deals with the basics to complex stuff. This book is a must have. Iyengar has mentioned about his journey and how he learnt yoga from the experts who guided the mysore maharaja ( king). Those days it was tough to get a Yoga Guru who is an expert in Yogic practices. People love t...
